Who We Are Saint Mary the Virgin Anglican Church (Anglican-Catholic) is a mission church within the Anglican Province of Christ the King. We are a Continuing Anglican church in which we worship Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God, and honor the Blessed Virgin. We welcome everyone; a home for all those who wish to worship Our Lord in faithful obedience to His word, and who seek the Anglo-Catholic liturgy and rites. Saint Mary's is established in 1979 here in San Diego by a group of faithful people who adheres to the traditional worship of the Anglican church. We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, Saint Augustine's Prayer Book, AV-KJV, and we pray the rosary in honor of the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus.
Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At St. Mary's, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospels daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ through His sacraments and His teachings.
